Licensed Practical Nurse – Ambulatory Surgery

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care under supervision, following patient care plans and organizational policies.
• Collect patient data through observation and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Participate in team-based care, mentoring, and quality improvement projects.
• Auxiliary in procedures such as flexible sigmoidoscopy and high-resolution anoscopy.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or qualified through passing the LPN Boards.
• One year of recent LPN experience preferred, with colorectal or surgical experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, team-oriented, adaptable, and proficient with computer systems and electronic medical records.
• Must hold current RN license and BLS certification prior to employment.
