About the role

The Joseph "Eddie" Ballard Western Kentucky Veterans Center is a 156-bed long term care facility dedicated to serving Kentucky’s Veterans. They foster independence, preserve dignity, and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities

Prepare, administer and document medications
Perform medical treatments
Check vital signs
Follow policies to ensure residents are cared for
Document all required information
Assist each resident with their needs

Requirements

Must be licensed in Kentucky as a practical nurse or have a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Must maintain any required licensure (s), certification(s) or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification.
