Licensed Practical Nurse - Ambulatory Float Staff

Role Overview: The Ambulatory Float Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care across various specialty clinics and primary care settings, supporting 16 practices from pediatrics to adulthood. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with patient visits, procedures, rooming patients, administering immunizations, and supporting patient care in multiple practices. The LPN collaborates with RNs and providers, collects patient data, and communicates observations to aid in assessment and care planning. They deliver care aligned with organizational policies and participate in quality improvement projects and team activities. Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program or passing the LPN boards post-appropriate nursing coursework. One year of recent LPN experience preferred. Must hold a current LPN license, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have computer proficiency, preferably with electronic medical records. BLS certification as required by state and work area. Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations and work effectively in team environments is essential. Additional Details: The position is full-time, nonexempt, offering competitive pay and benefits. Work hours are Monday through Friday, with day shifts. No weekend shifts are scheduled. The role involves working in multiple clinic locations, supporting diverse patient populations, and fostering a team-oriented environment.
