About the Role
Provide safe, personalized nursing care in various healthcare settings, including mental health and outpatient clinics.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with hygiene
- Obtain lab specimens
- Monitor vital signs
- Perform treatments
- Administer medications
- Observe and document patient responses
- Respond to emergencies
- Operate specialized medical equipment
- Communicate respectfully with patients, families, and staff
- Provide consistent information and handle conflicts constructively
- Conduct patient assessments (experience-dependent)
- Provide patient education (experience-dependent)
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted LPN licensure
- Graduate from an approved nursing program
- Proficiency in English
- Experience levels vary (GS-3 to GS-6), with expanding responsibilities based on experience
