Licensed Practical Nurse, Adult Urogynecology Clinic

Responsibilities

• Triage calls and determine appropriate medical decisions.
• Demonstrate competency and accuracy in all work tasks.
• Courteously answer telephones and chart appropriately in EMR.
• Take complete and accurate messages as required.
• Absess the medical and nursing care rendered by self and others.
• Use appropriate Triage protocols via EMR to guide patient care.
• Fills in and assists other office staff members during absences or work overloads.
• Assures delivery of quality patient care.
• Clearly explains therapy, tests, and treatments to patients and families.
• Assists in maintaining a comfortable, orderly, safe, clean, and private patient care environment.
• Greets patients, family members, and visitors in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Participates in orientation of new personnel to the office.
• Willing to accept the mission and values of STEP and participate in assigned committees.
• Reports to Leadership any suggestions for positive changes within the office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited LPN program.
• Current Louisiana License as LPN.
• BLS Certification.
