Responsibilities
- Perform routine nursing care procedures
- Conduct donor screenings
- Perform venipuncture
- Provide health education and counseling
Qualifications
Required:
- License or permit to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school’s LPN program.
- Degrees must be granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred:
- Acute care hospital, at least 1 year of experience as an LPN and/or
Pay
The starting hourly rate is $28.20, which includes a base rate of $26.76 per hour and a geographical differential of $1.44 per hour.
