Position Description
Licensed Practical Nurse - 4 West (Ortho/Neuro Med Surg Unit)
About the role
Implements and assists with nursing care for patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses. Provides care to a diverse population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Works within the scope of practice as defined by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Assists with patient care activities
- Administers medications as ordered
- Monitors patient health status
- Documents patient care activities
Requirements
- Authorized to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Oklahoma
Qualifications
- Experience preferred but not required
- Preferred qualifications include school attendance record and performance record
