About the role

The Licensed Plumber / Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plumbing systems throughout district buildings and facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Repairing leaks
  • Unclogging drains
  • Maintaining plumbing fixtures and water systems
  • Performing preventative maintenance
  • Ensuring all work complies with applicable plumbing codes and safety regulations
  • Responding to maintenance requests
  • Addressing plumbing emergencies
  • Aiding with general maintenance duties as needed

Requirements

  • Valid South Dakota plumbing license
  • Experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of plumbing codes and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in plumbing maintenance

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Schedule
