Licensed Plumber

About the role

The average yearly earnings range between $100,000–$110,000, with potential to earn more. Our plumbers provide a wide range of plumbing services, including faucet repairs, water heater installations, and plumbing system replacements. Guaranteed hourly rate of $50.00 with no commission. Weekly revenue expectations of $6,500, plus an additional 10% bonus on every dollar for any weekly revenue generated over $7,000. Company-provided van, purchase card, and fuel card.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
• Install and repair various plumbing fixtures, including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
• Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters.
• Ensure thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to meet pre-job conditions.
• Prepare invoices, totaling costs of services/products provided, collect payment, and explain the Roto-Rooter guarantee both in writing and via provided smartphone.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• State plumbing license (minimum Massachusetts Journeyman plumbing license required).
• Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
• Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services.
• Full knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Must obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
• Good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and co-worker relations.
