About the role

New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking a CT licensed plumber (P2) with 3-5 years of experience for our South Windsor, CT Mechanical Group. This opportunity requires a self-motivated individual with commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping experience. Individuals with HVAC piping background are encouraged to apply. An additional pressure boiler pipefitting license is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication and written skills preferred. Some overtime is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.
Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Qualifications

Must hold a current CT P-2 license.
Must have a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

Regularly walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Frequent lifting and setting up and climbing ladders as well as stairways.
Regularly lift and/or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs., 51-100 lbs. occasionally, and 101+ seldom.
Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
