About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in physical therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients to establish appropriate treatment goals and programs to maximize patient’s outcome toward recovery
  • Provide continuing assessment of progress through re-evaluations and activities of daily living (ADL) forms
  • Provide necessary modifications for prompt progression
  • Provide safe, innovative, and individualized modalities
  • Educate the patient on an individualized home exercise program (HEP)
  • Work with Physical Therapist Aides (PTA) and other staff
  • Educate patients on precautions and contraindications

Requirements

  • NY Physical Therapy License
  • One Year Experience As a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred Workers Compensation Authorization Number required
  • Malpractice Insurance Coverage - Declaration Page

  • Proficient computer skills
  • Understanding of a wide array of postoperative protocols
  • Working knowledge of various manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription
