Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in performing patient care activities including preparing and distributing medications
• Maintain the medication inventory
• Support clinical documentation related to medication therapies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current pharmacy technician license in the state of Michigan or eligible for licensure

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., preparing IV admixtures, use of a computer keyboard)
• May require lifting and carrying of light loads (up to 40lbs), including boxes, equipment, unit-dose cassettes, and IV solutions
• Walking or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary
• Must be able to physically operate the equipment used for the job!

• Schedule: 11:00am - 9:30pm, Holiday and weekend rotations required.
