Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator

About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to oversee the facility in a professional and respectful manner that enables the facility to use its resources effectively and efficiently to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the facility's operations to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance resident care and satisfaction.
• Manage the budget and financial aspects of the facility, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource utilization.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting resident-centered care.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare providers to improve the quality of care and support resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration or related.
• Two years’ experience as an Administrator of a long-term care facility.
• Current State appropriate Nursing Home Administrator License.
• Excellent organizational, financial, operational and motivational skills.
