Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Job Summary
Birchwood Rehab and Healthcare is seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and dependable Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) to join their skilled nursing team. They provide a warm, secure, and supportive environment where staff can make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and personal care needs.
- Support residents with mobility, transfers, positioning, and other care needs as assigned.
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the nursing team.
- Maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and respectful environment for residents.
- Work collaboratively with nurses and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care.
- Promote resident dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life.
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate teamwork, compassion, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Valid Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification required.
- A compassionate and enthusiastic approach to resident care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Dependable, responsible, and committed to providing excellent care.
- Ability to work assigned shifts and schedules.
- Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
