About the role
Interim HealthCare is seeking a Home Health Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to provide personal care services to an elderly client in Alstead, NH.
Responsibilities
- Assist with showers, med reminders, help prepare meals, walks outside in the warmer weather, light housekeeping, and overall safety
- Provide companionship and engage in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies
- Support with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and companionship
- Ambulate, transfer, and perform range of motion exercises as needed
- Provide medication reminders and document clients' conditions
- Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Active LNA license in NH
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
- CPR certification preferred, not required
- Ability to lift 50LBS with no restrictions
- Valid NH driver's license and transportation
- Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
- Active LNA license in NH
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role, preferred
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50LBS with no restrictions
- Knowledge of home care procedures and practices
- Good physical stamina and ability to perform light housekeeping tasks
