About the Role
Westminster Suncoast, an active living retirement community in St. Petersburg, is seeking a full-time nurse for a part-time overnight shift (11pm-7am) on weekends.
Pay
Rates up to $41.11 per hour for RNs, plus shift differential.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with state and federal standards
- Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities
- Assist in planning resident care by following physician orders
- Implement and evaluate resident care based on physician orders, communicating updates to doctors
- Administer medications, IVs, injections, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other procedures
- Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians
- Monitor vital signs such as blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary
- Respond to all emergencies
- Schedule doctor’s appointments, coordinate transportation, labs, and transcribe lab results
- Supervise CNAs and LPNs as Charge Nurse, ensuring resident care aligns with physician orders and defined care plans
