Licensed Nurse (LPN/RN) - FT Nocs - Previous PAR Experience Required

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will be responsible for administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, nurse supervisor, charge nurse, and/or Director of Nursing Services. As a Registered Nurse (RN), your nursing and leadership skills will ensure quality nursing care is provided to residents, and you will direct the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants.
Responsibilities
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Administering medications to residents
- Refilling and cleaning the stock cart
- Administering medications in accordance with established nursing standards, policies, procedures, and practices of the facility and the requirements of the state
- Other nursing duties as assigned
Registered Nurse (RN)
- Meeting with assigned nursing staff and support personnel to plan the shifts’ services, programs, and activities
- Directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Assistants
- Ensuring quality nursing care is provided to residents
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed RN or LPN for the appropriate State
- Experience in a healthcare setting working with the geriatric population is preferred, but not required
- Strong computer skills are needed for use of our electronic medical records system
