Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) - Memory Care - Part time evening - Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing

About the role

The LNA position at Helen Porter Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing is part-time and works evenings in our Memory Care unit. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed
• Provide medication assistance as directed by a physician
• Participate in shift handovers and report resident observations
• Support the interdisciplinary team in meeting the needs of residents

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field
• Current New York State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
• At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

• Pass a background check
• Pass a drug screening
• Pass a physical examination
