Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Counsels clinical assessments and provides diagnosis, treatment and referrals when indicated
• Carr[ies] a treatment caseload; provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups as appropriate; starts and ends sessions on time; and maintains consumer confidentiality
• Accurately and punctually completes needed clinical documentation and insurance authorization requests
• Maintains appropriate client and pre-client case records
• Provides clients and families with referral resources for the services not provided by this agency or when this agency’s services are not appropriate

Schedule

• Type: Full-time
• H[ours]: 40 hours each week, Monday-Friday during regular business hours with 1 later evening until 7 p.m.

Education and Experience Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in the social or behavioral sciences is required.
• Current Iowa Licensure Psychologist, LISW, LMHC, or LMFT is required. Temporary licensed individuals are welcome to apply.
