Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Counsels clients through clinical assessments and provides diagnosis, treatment, and referrals when indicated
- Manages a treatment caseload; provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups as appropriate; starts and ends sessions on time; and maintains consumer confidentiality
- Accurately and punctually completes needed clinical documentation and insurance authorization requests
- Maintains appropriate client and pre-client case records
- Provides clients and families with referral resources for services not provided by this agency or when this agency’s services are not appropriate
Schedule
Type: Full-time
Hours: 40 hours each week, Monday-Friday during regular business hours with 1 later day (10a-6p or 11a-7p) preferred.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in the social or behavioral sciences is required
- Current Iowa Licensure as a Psychologist, Social Worker (LISW or LMSW), Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC or LMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (tLMFT or LMFT) is required
