Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Counsels clients through clinical assessments and provides diagnosis, treatment, and referrals when necessary
  • Manages a caseload, offering psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups as needed; ensures sessions start and end on time while maintaining client confidentiality
  • Accurately and promptly completes clinical documentation and insurance authorization requests
  • Maintains accurate and timely client and pre-client case records
  • Provides clients and families with referral resources for services not offered by the agency or when the agency's services are not appropriate

Schedule

Type: Full-time

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday during regular business hours with a preference for one later day (10a-6p or 11a-7p)

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university in the social or behavioral sciences is required
  • Current Iowa licensure as a Psychologist, Social Worker (LISW or LMSW), Mental Health Counselor (tLMHC or LMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (tLMFT or LMFT) is required
