Licensed Mental Health Therapist

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in Substance Abuse Recovery with Amatus Health, you will play a vital role in helping individuals struggling with addiction recover and regain control of their lives. Our comprehensive treatment programs are designed to address the unique needs of each patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to patients struggling with substance use disorders
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and psychological needs
• Conduct clinical assessments, screenings, and evaluations to identify patient needs and track progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and progress
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field

Requirements

• Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the State of Maryland
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with substance use disorders
• Strong foundation in evidence-based therapies, including CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
