Essential Functions
- Provide behavioral health screening of detainees referred by facility staff or identified through prescreening.
- Offer individual and/or group psychoeducation and skills-based interventions.
- Maintain monitoring and assessment of behavioral health for referred detainees.
- Collaborate with custody and medical staff in managing and treating detainees with behavioral health concerns.
- Support and enhance the therapeutic support provided to segregated and isolated detainees.
- Coordinate with county behavioral health services for continuity of care and discharge planning/case management.
- Complete documentation and maintain records for referral tracking and CQI under supervision.
- Commit to providing behavioral health support and offer training to solve problems and improve lives.

Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in a Behavioral/Social Science field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, etc.) required.
- Current licensure with clinical specialty from the appropriate state licensing board preferred.
- CPR certification must be obtained prior to hire and maintained while in this role.
- Hands-on or online certifications are accepted.
- Must be able to practice independently.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle required.
