Responsibilities
- Conduct intake evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions and suicide prevention techniques.
- Develop and recommend treatment plans, conduct psychoeducational and transitional groups, and manage medication evaluations.
- Respond to sick call requests, provide medication adherence, and coordinate with prescribing providers.
- Provide crisis intervention, oversee clinical needs, and participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and administrative meetings.
- Train staff on relevant mental health topics, document findings, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.
- One (1) or more years of experience in a Mental Health treatment program, preferably in a Correctional or Hospital setting.
- Unrestricted, current license in the State of practice – e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC, Psychologist – must maintain all licenses, certifications, and continuing education requirements.
