Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) - Telehealth

About the role

Brightside Health is a measurement‑driven telehealth provider offering evidence‑based behavioral health care through programs such as Suicide Prevention (CAMS training), Teen Therapy, and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). As a 100% remote, 1099 contractor therapist, you will join a supportive clinical community, receive steady referrals, and have the flexibility to build your own practice while avoiding administrative overhead.

Responsibilities

• Deliver weekly telehealth (video‑based) therapy sessions to individuals across a range of behavioral health conditions.
• Apply evidence‑based approaches including CBT and the Unified Protocol (UP); additional modalities such as ACT, DBT, and EMDR are welcomed.
• Use measurement‑based care to track progress via digital assessments.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and fellow therapists for integrated care.
• Maintain documentation using our AI‑enabled, HIPAA‑compliant EMR.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work.
• Active independent license (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, LCPC, LICSW, LISW, PsyD, PhD).
• 2+ years of experience delivering CBT and other evidence‑based therapies to adults.
• Experience with telehealth or online therapy.
• Comfortable treating diverse populations across behavioral health conditions.
• Tech‑comfortable and open to digital tools in care delivery.
• Experience with higher‑acuity populations and/or adolescents preferred.
• Multi‑state licensure a strong plus.
