What You’ll Do
- Provide assessments, diagnoses, counseling, crisis intervention, and treatment planning
- Support clients through outreach, care coordination, hospitalization, and recovery navigation
- Partner closely with medical teams, housing providers, and community supports
Qualifications
- Must meet qualifications for: LPCLCSWLMFTCADC certification
- Highly preferred: Experience with severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI)
- Necessary competencies: Identify precipitating events, gather histories, assess family, social and work relationships, conduct mental status assessment, document DSM5 diagnosis, write and implement treatment plan, conduct mental health assessment, provide mental health treatment and rehabilitative services
- Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA
- Current CPR certification required prior to start
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Will be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB Test, and background check
- Must adhere to agency’s non-discrimination policies

- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
- Ability to work in an environment where people may be hostile or abusive
- Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
- Ability to work courteously and effectively communicate with the general public, clients, medical personnel, corrections personnel, police, and co-workers
- Ability to maintain accurate records and necessary paperwork
- Knowledge of de-escalation methods or ability to be trained in de-escalation methods
- Ability to provide leadership
