Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent

About the Role

Direct access to major Medical Carriers and a flexible daily work schedule. This position is remote, but candidates must reside in the state of Ohio or Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to educate them about available Medicare plan options, assess their individual needs, and help them select the coverage that best fits their healthcare and financial goals (Medicare Advantage (Part C), Part D prescription drug plans, and Medigap supplemental insurance).
• Conduct presentations, home visits, and personalized appointments as needed to complete the enrollment process.
• Stay updated on CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) rules and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Follow up on leads and referrals from family members and caregivers of consumers eligible for enrollment in Medicare.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in Medicare sales.
• Active Life and Health License.
• Additional certificates needed to legally sell Medicare Advantage & Medicare Supplemental plans.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, & Outlook).
• Entrepreneurial spirit.

Pay

Base compensation for this position is $50,000 to $75,000/year. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn uncapped commission, with forecasted earning potential of $65,000 - $90,000 in the first year.
