About the role

Sundance offers a unique opportunity for a Licensed Massage Therapist to support and promote the image, service, and standards of the spa. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to provide a wide range of massage and body treatments in a clean, safe, and relaxing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check guests in and out warmly and with a smile.
  • Guide guests through their entire spa journey.
  • Fulfill any reasonable requests of guests and management.
  • Maintain guest satisfaction and comfort throughout the spa journey.
  • Attend all educational events and meetings sponsored by the spa and Sundance.
  • Communicate with management and other team members regarding guest or service concerns.
  • Punctual and consistent attendance and performance of job duties.
  • Maintain proper start/stop times for treatments, per protocols.
  • Perform foot soaks and all massage and body treatment therapies as prescribed by the spa protocols.
  • Be knowledgeable of a variety of massage modalities and learn and perform all spa body treatments.
  • Promote body care products to all guests and understand their proper usage.
  • Recommend body therapy and product home care to guests.
  • Restock and refill products and supplies in the treatment rooms and dispensary.
  • Aid other team members in keeping the dispensary clean and organized.
  • Maintain and clean treatment rooms, equipment, and dishes.
  • Move and lift containers of liquid, a set of heated stones that weighs between 5-10 lbs., and bags of linen.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Six months to one year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified Graduate from an Accredited School of Massage Therapy, Utah Licensing and National Certification required.
  • Two years of spa experience as a licensed technician required.
  • Certified Graduate from an Accredited School of Massage Therapy.
  • Licensed by the State of Utah and Nationally Certified.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
