Responsibilities

• Customize wellness plans based on individual clients
• Inspire peace and relaxation through a friendly and helpful approach
• Build rapport and generate return clientele by promoting member referrals and memberships
• Maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and common areas
• Adhere to all massage therapy state licensing laws and regulations
• Carry massage liability insurance
• Communicate effectively with clients, spa management, and staff

Requirements

• Knowledge of Swedish Massage (required)
• Knowledge of other modalities (e.g., Neuromuscular, Myofascial, Trigger Point, Pre-Natal, Craniosacral, Reiki, Deep Tissue) preferred but not required
• Training in additional modalities provided by Hand and Stone
• Belief in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork
