About the role
Accident Care Chiropractic and Massage is the Pacific Northwest’s leader in Auto-Injury rehabilitation. We specialize in Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, and Physical Rehabilitation for patients who have suffered injury as a result of an automobile crash. Our approach to treatment is multi-disciplinary, including the use of cutting-edge modalities and hands-on care. We have over a decade of experience in treating injuries and 28 locations throughout Oregon and Washington. Responsibilities And Tasks
- Perform therapeutic massage and soft tissue manipulation for our patients in need, under the direction of the Attending Physician.
- Typically, massage is provided on an hourly basis for each of our patients with a hands-on time of at least 53 minutes.
- Create and maintain patient chart notes, documenting each visit.
- Proper cleanliness and disinfection of the massage room before and after patient visits.
- Maintain proper inventory of the massage room and ensure the office manager is aware of any needed supplies.
- Laundry between patients or during downtime, which also includes stocking and folding massage sheets as needed.
- Properly log hours worked.
Requirements
- Completion and license from an accredited massage therapy program.
- Licensed from the Washington Board of Massage Therapists.
- Thorough knowledge of therapeutic massage techniques.
- Ability to communicate well and work with team members in a medical setting.
- Dual licenses in both Oregon and Washington are a plus.
