Licensed/Licensed Eligible Clinical Therapist - Behavioral Health

Responsibilities

Responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.

Aids in the admission process, both voluntary and involuntary, for individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Makes referrals to community resources as needed.

Coordinates discharge planning through the medical staff.

Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participates in the community relations program of the organization.

Communicates with outpatient referral sources, families/guardians, and outpatient aftercare providers.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree Required.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of South Carolina.
• 1-3 Years of Experience in a Clinical Mental Health Setting. 3-5 years Preferred.
