Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Cook up and coordinate with team members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for technical survey-related matters.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding project progress and deliverables.
- Conduct or oversee boundary, topographic, construction, and other types of surveys.
- Ensure survey data accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Prepare survey reports, maps, plats, and related documentation.
- Review survey data, drawings, and deliverables for completeness and accuracy.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of work.
- Maintain accurate records of project information, including field notes, calculations, and correspondence.
- Prepare and review survey reports, legal descriptions, and plats.
- Review project progress and assist in determining billing readiness.
- Cook up with accounting and operations staff to ensure proper documentation for invoicing.
- Communicate with clients regarding invoice or payment questions as needed.
- Identify potential issues affecting survey deliverables and propose practical solutions.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and professional surveying standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field preferred.
- Licensure in Pennsylvania is preferred.
- Experience in land surveying, including boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
- Strong knowledge of surveying principles, standards, and applicable laws.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, and related surveying software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
