Job Description Licensed Journey-Level Electrician Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $60/hour + $125/day Per Diem for Qualified Travelers Project Duration: Approximately 6 Months Schedule: Approximately 58 Hours per Week Project: Data Center Construction Start Date: ASAP The Opportunity Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Licensed Journey-Level Electricians for a 6-month data center construction project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This opportunity is ideal for electricians with commercial or industrial construction experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing electrical installation work to applicable codes, specifications, and safety standards. Compensation & Project Highlights $60/hour$125/day per diem for qualified travelersApproximately 58 hours per weekApproximately 6-month project durationWeekly payConsistent overtime opportunitiesLarge-scale data center constructionImmediate openings Key Responsibilities Install conduit, cable tray, raceways, and electrical support systemsPull, route, terminate, and test power and control wiringInstall switchgear, transformers, panelboards, and related electrical equipmentRead and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specificationsPerform electrical installations in accordance with NEC requirementsInspect completed work for quality and proper installationMaintain a clean and safe work areaFollow all site-specific safety procedures and project requirements Qualifications Active Iowa Journey-Level Electrician License or qualifying reciprocal state licensePrevious commercial or industrial electrical construction experienceAbility to read and understand electrical drawings and specificationsWorking knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe work practicesAbility to pass a pre-employment drug screenStrong commitment to safety, quality, and dependable workmanship Work Environment This position is based on an active data center construction site and requires the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
