Licensed / Journeyman Electrician
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at WK Kellogg Co. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and collaborating on electrical components to ensure smooth operations and maintain a strong reputation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and upgrade equipment, focusing on programmable logic controllers and robotics.
- Identify and analyze production equipment failures, using schematics and drawings to determine root causes.
- Repair and improve electrical systems, working with PLC programming and other computer-based applications.
- Drive innovation by improving plant efficiency and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with Maintenance Supervisors, Mechanics, and Operators on both daily activities and long-term improvement projects.
Qualifications
- State of Michigan Journeyman License.
- Demonstrated skills in PLCs, power controls, and instrumentation.
- Strong emphasis on behavior-based safety systems.
- Good computer skills, including Office and SAP/ERP Maintenance systems.
- AutoCAD and SAP experience preferred.
- Electrical experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, particularly in food manufacturing, is highly desirable.
- Sit, stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day.

Pay and Schedule
Salary range: $45/hour base pay. All shifts available. Shift differential applies for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
