Licensed Intervention Specialist

About the role

The KidsLink School, located in Streetsboro, Ohio, is seeking passionate, innovative, and caring Licensed Intervention Specialists for full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs to meet students' individual and unique needs
• Maintain and monitor student progress
• Analyze data collected daily through an online platform
• Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
• Provide direct instruction in a 1:1 or small group setting using curriculum aligned with the Ohio State Learning Standards
• Collaborate with other KidsLink professionals and families

Requirements

• Ability to assist in lifts and/or physically manage students of varying sizes and weight
• BCI & FBI background check required
• Reliable transportation
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to make sound and ethical decisions
• Strong leadership and managerial skills

Qualifications

• Must hold current State of Ohio Intervention Specialist license (K-12)
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working with students with intensive individualized needs preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Proficiency in using online platforms for data collection and analysis
