About the role
The KidsLink School, located in Streetsboro, Ohio, is seeking passionate, innovative, and caring Licensed Intervention Specialists for full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs to meet students' individual and unique needs
- Maintain and monitor student progress
- Analyze data collected daily through an online platform
- Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Provide direct instruction in a 1:1 or small group setting using curriculum aligned with the Ohio State Learning Standards
- Collaborate with other KidsLink professionals and families
Requirements
- Ability to assist in lifts and/or physically manage students of varying sizes and weight
- BCI & FBI background check required
- Reliable transportation
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to make sound and ethical decisions
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
Qualifications
- Must hold current State of Ohio Intervention Specialist license (K-12)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
- Experience working with students with intensive individualized needs preferred
Skills
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in using online platforms for data collection and analysis
