Schedule

Monday–Friday | School Hours (Typically 7 hour days) | 2026-2027 School Year

About the role

PSI partners directly with schools to fill active, approved positions — not pipeline postings. You will know assignment details before accepting placement whenever possible. At PSI, you are supported professionally and personally throughout your assignment.

Provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities. When available, PSI shares real assignment details early in the process, including:

• Exposure to multiple grade levels (PreK–12 opportunities)
• Opportunities to implement differentiated instruction and intervention strategies
• Work with individual students, small groups, and whole-class support
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and school psychologists

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate on developing and implementing intervention plans
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Support students’ social-emotional growth and behavior management
• Assist in data collection and documentation for IEP compliance
• Partner with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid Intervention Specialist or Special Education license/certification (state-specific)
• School-based experience preferred, but newer professionals encouraged to apply — mentorship available
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
