Licensed HVAC Field Service Manager

Responsibilities

• Serve as Astra's licensed HVAC contractor of record (Class A or B)
• Perform residential HVAC diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and installations
• Provide technical leadership and support to HVAC technicians
• Train, mentor, and develop team members
• Conduct quality control reviews and maintain high workmanship standards
• Support estimates, replacement recommendations, and major repair decisions
• Help establish service standards, procedures, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding technicians as the company grows
• Participate in an on-call rotation and assist with after-hours emergency service as needed

Qualifications

• Active Texas Class A or Class B Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Contractor License (TDLR)
• Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
• Experience leading, training, or mentoring technicians (preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Compensation & Benefits

• $45–$55 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
