Who We Are
The Family Resolutions Specialty Court (FRSC) is a problem-solving court designed to help parents with children under 18 settle issues in probate and family court. It offers support for co-parents to manage and reduce conflict, help settle parenting and financial arrangements collaboratively in the child's best interests, and provide tools for productive future parenting and co-parenting. Parents meet with a judge and additional legal staff in Court Conferences as needed to aid parents in settling their cases.

What We’re Looking For
- A Master’s degree or higher in a mental health field (required).
- Independent licensure in a behavioral health field required (LADC, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT).
- Familiarity with local services and providers such as mediation, conciliation, housing and economic programs, parent education, mental health treatment, substance use treatment, special education, professional financial advice, etc. (required).
- Knowledge of adult development in the context of family dissolution and family conflict (required).
- Knowledge of child development and development in the context of family dissolution and family conflict (required).
- Experience in and commitment to working collaboratively with a team (required).
- Experience with the court system as a Guardian Ad Litem, expert witness, or through educational opportunities such as specialized courses regarding family law (preferred).
- Experience providing marital/co-parent counseling in the context of family dissolution and family conflict (preferred).
