Qualifications
A valid license as a Veterinary Technician
Experience in an emergency setting preferred
Proficiency in anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
Ability to triage emergency cases and obtain vital signs
Knowledge of digital radiography techniques
Understanding of normal vital sign ranges and ability to interpret blood pressure and other vital signs
Experience with CPR initiation and calculation of medical math
Skills in phlebotomy, intravenous catheter placement, and feeding tube and central line catheter management
Mentoring and training others
Patience and empathy towards clients
