Licensed Electrical - Mechanical 1099 Contractor - Maintenance Technician

About the role

Superior Contracting & Maintenance is seeking experienced residential electrical technicians to join our contractor network. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, steady work opportunities, and fast payment processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide efficient repair solutions
• Follow all local electrical and safety regulations
• Maintain communication and provide job updates through the mobile work order portal
• Complete work orders professionally while maintaining quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Manage work orders, timelines, and approved budgets effectively

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and dependable work ethic
• Must own electrical tools and reliable transportation (truck, van, or SUV)
• Able to work independently and manage service calls
• PREFERRED: 3+ years of residential electrical experience
• Valid driver's license required
• Comfortable using online portals and mobile job management systems
• Able to transport tools and equipment as needed
• Active General Liability Insurance required (COI must be provided)
• Workers' Compensation coverage preferred where applicable
• Valid trade license preferred depending on local and state requirements
