About the role
Hunt Electric, Inc. is searching for a full-time Licensed Electrical Foreman to join our team in our electrical division in our Boise, Idaho location.
Responsibilities
- Successfully supervise projects with crews ranging from 2 to 50 personnel, meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
- Diplomatically manage the crews and provide appropriate training, positive and constructive feedback.
- Plan and layout the project including planned installation material take-off quantities and tool needs based on the project schedule.
- Evaluate project risks to personnel and equipment to mitigate them.
- Understand, review, and implement the installation per the contract drawings and specifications.
- Plan the project’s material, equipment, and labor needs for timely arrival to and from the site.
- Monitor daily progress to the short term and long-term schedules to meet commitments. Provide daily written documentation of activities and obstacles.
- Conduct and participate in project meetings as needed and provide necessary trade coordination.
- Coordinate and communicate with the PM and purchasing manager with detailed material requisitions, and delivery schedules.
- Establish and implement prefab project specific tasks.
- Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.
Requirements
- Current Journeyman license.
- Five plus years of installation experience with the latest electrical code, means, and methods.
- Superior internal and external communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.).
- Be a team player with acknowledging contributions by others.
- Basic computer skills such as Outlook, Bluebeam, Word, and Excel.
- Have safety training related to electrical and general construction such as OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, First Aid/CPR, scissor lift, forklift, Lock Out/Tag Out and trade specific.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.

- Knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Dependability with regular attendance and compliance to scheduled work hours.

Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm.
