We’re looking for skilled, licensed Electricians (E1 or E2) to join our growing team, specializing in residential multifamily projects. If you take pride in clean, code-compliant work and want steady projects in a team-focused environment, this is the opportunity for you.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
- Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to support accurate project execution.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes.
- Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities and operational needs.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
- Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
- Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
- Assist with supporting and training less experienced technicians as needed.
- Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Connecticut E1 or E2 Electrical License
- Experience in residential wiring (multifamily preferred)
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local codes
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and operational awareness
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams and departments
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, testing equipment, and related systems
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices and electrical codes
- Ability to make sound decisions and resolve issues effectively under pressure
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings such as background and motor vehicle record checks
- English speaking, reading, and writing preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties
- Maintain professionalism and a positive, respectful demeanor with customers, coworkers, and business partners
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2-4 years of previous electrical installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience
- Experience within construction, operations, or service environments preferred
- Relevant industry certifications or licenses preferred, and required where necessary to perform job duties
- Experience supporting field operations or assisting senior technicians is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Communicate in person, by phone, and through email
- Travel as required to support project and operational needs
- Stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday
- Sit for extended periods while driving to and between job sites
- Work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions
- Wear safety gear such as Personal Protective Equipment
- Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures
- Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require
- Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position
- Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds
