Licensed Driver

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport clients to and from scheduled group sessions and other approved locations.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure a secure and smooth ride.
• Maintain a professional and supportive environment for clients during transport.
• Conduct pre and posttrip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Ensure all clients are picked up and dropped off in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation logs, mileage, and client attendance.
• Absorb and communicate with staff regarding client pickups, dropoffs, and any concerns observed during transport.
• Follow all confidentiality and HIPAA regulations to protect client information.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a driver, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or social services.
• Ability to interact with individuals experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges with patience and respect.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Knowledge of local roads and GPS navigation.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while driving.
• Ability to assist clients in and out of the vehicle if needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. if required for mobility assistance.
