Job Summary
SJJ Insurance Services is hiring experienced, licensed Commercial P&C Agents who are ready to plug in and produce immediately. This is a pure commercial lines sales role focused on construction-heavy accounts—including general contractors, electricians, painters, and builder risk. If you already know how to sell insurance and want to focus strictly on revenue-generating activity (not admin work), this is a high-leverage opportunity. We are not a personal lines shop. This role is 100% commercial-focused.

What You’ll Do
- Commercial Sales (Construction Focus)
- Possess prospecting and closing skills for commercial P&C accounts within the construction space
- Target contractors, subcontractors, and builder risk opportunities
- Write policies including: General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Business Owner’s Policies (BOP), Commercial risk packages
- Manage your own pipeline and production goals
- Quote, present, and close policies efficiently
- Leverage multi-carrier access to win business
- Build long-term relationships with business owners
- Provide tailored coverage solutions based on risk exposure
- Maintain retention through proactive service and communication

Required Qualifications (Pre-Screening)
- Must be 18+ years old
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be a licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) agent
- Must have commercial insurance sales experience
Preferred
- Existing book of business or strong network in construction
- Familiarity with multi-carrier quoting environments
