Licensed Clinician (Residential)

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a Human Services Field
• Licensure issued by the governing board currently operating in the State of North Carolina regulating a human service profession
• Experience in the clinical area to be served

Responsibilities

• Experience with Medicaid and State requirements is preferred
• Provide assessment and therapeutic services in various environments as assigned
• Participate in the development and update of the Person-Centered Plan
• Provide individual, group, or family counseling/therapy to clients as indicated in the Person-Centered Plan and specific program requirements
• Submit documentation for all services within state guidelines and in accordance with company policy and standards
• Provide input for Treatment Team Meetings
• Provide telephone contact with clients and collateral persons to assist the client in meeting the goals specified in the Person-Centered Plan
• Maintain open communication with other staff regarding the progress and needs of the clients
• Work standard office hours with flexibility as approved by supervisor
• Travel using personal vehicle with occasional overnight travel required
• Attend required training
• Prepare correspondence in conjunction with management of client care
• Report any non-compliance with governing standards and/or any suspicions of abuse or neglect to the proper authority
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to responsibilities listed in governmental laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures
• Complete NC TOPPS as required
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by immediate supervisors
