About the role

We’re seeking a Licensed Clinician who is ready to lead with purpose, elevate clinical quality, and directly influence client outcomes. This is a high-impact clinical leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clinical staff to develop and refine comprehensive treatment plans that address mental health, substance use, educational, and vocational needs
  • Lead and participate in interdisciplinary case conferences to ensure aligned, high-quality care
  • Deliver individual, group, and workshop-based therapeutic services in collaboration with the clinical team
  • Provide ongoing clinical supervision, coaching, and staff development, fostering skill-building and accountability
  • Oversee and coordinate patient case management, working closely with social services, legal entities, schools, and community providers
  • Review and ensure quality of clinical documentation, supporting compliance and best practices
  • Lead or support clinical case review processes and continuous program improvement efforts
  • Guide clients and staff through treatment progression, ensuring appropriate transitions and continuity of care
  • Support discharge planning and re-entry, ensuring clients are equipped with resources and referrals for long-term success

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED EDUCATION: Master's degree in social work or mental health counseling
  • LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: Independent license issued by New York State (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMHC, LPC, or equivalent); Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing is strongly preferred
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum three to five years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment; Minimum two years of experience in a providing clinical supervision and staff development; Familiarity with OASAS regulations and those of other relevant bodies (i.e. housing providers, Department of Social Services, etc.)
