Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Role Overview
Must be licensed in a Arizona, Georgia, Indiana, Minnesota or Ohio
What you’ll do - Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of care providers (including MDs, Dietitians) to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to member care
- Utilizing evidenced-based clinical interventions (including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, relaxation strategies (diaphragmatic breathing, progressive muscle relaxation), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, psychoeducation (brain-gut connection, coping with chronic illness) and gut directed hypnotherapy)
- Completing biopsychosocial assessments to design and implement relevant and concrete goals that support clients in achieving meaningful outcomes related to their GI condition(s)
- Maintaining health records and encounters in electronic health record and complying with guidelines outlined within company clinical protocols and other related manuals
- Participating in professional training activities to maintain licensure and advance knowledge base
- Participating in clinical coordination meetings with other care team members
- Contributing to company wide development of psychological best practices and sharing professional experience with other team members
What we are looking for - Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, social work, or other relevant field
- Active License to practice therapy in good standing (LPC Counseling Compact only)
- 3+ Years Relevant experience delivering Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, teaching relaxation strategies that impact brain-gut connection, Motivational Interviewing, (experience with GI focused care is a plus)
- Ability to work alongside and communicate effectively with other care providers (e.g., MD, Nurse Practitioner, Health Coach, Registered Dietitian)
- Comfortable and competent with using common administrative technologies (e.g. Zoom, Slack, Office, Google Drive, or equivalent), charting electronically, experience delivering on telehealth platforms preferred
