Licensed Clinical Professional / Associate - Young Children
Responsibilities
- Providing therapeutic services including assessments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy to individuals served including but not limited to adults and children/adolescents.
- Serving individuals with wide variety of mental health and substance use diagnoses.
- Facilitating relationships and serving as a link between the company, parents, guardians, local agencies and the community.
- Serving as a support for individuals with connections to services and referral for holistic treatment.
- Working closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and providing feedback, standardizing procedures and expediting treatment implementation.
Requirements
- Licensed Clinical Professional Associate is defined as an individual who is:
- (a) an individual who holds a provisional license, certificate, registration or permit issued by the governing board regulating a human service profession, except a registered nurse who is licensed to practice in the State of North Carolina by the North Carolina Board of Nursing who also has four years of full-time accumulated experience in MH/DD/SA with the population served;
- (b) the individual must meet the requirements for continuing education to maintain licensure.
- Pre-employment screening: Complete criminal background Name checked in the registries. (OIG exclusions database, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities)
- Drug testing
- Education verification and other credentialing based on position requirements.
- Proof of employment history or references (if required)
- Positions that require driving: Proof of driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle, IF required for providing transportation for individuals.
About the Role
We are hiring for a Licensed Clinical Professional / Associate - Young Children at RHA Health Services. This position calls for an associate licensed with direct experience and skill in treating a range of behavioral health issues, including working with young children ages 0-10 and receiving training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
