Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree with Licensed BCBA Professional in the state of California
• Two (2) years’ experience providing behavior supports for individuals with IDD and with mental health diagnosis
• A minimum of two (2) years of experience in designing, supervising, and implementing behavior modifications
• Demonstrated ability to support individuals with behavioral challenges
• Competency in writing supports plans and effective verbal communication skills
• Capacity to train and mentor others
• Able to perform duties with limited supervision
• Flexibility in scheduling and availability for onsite support
• Licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and identifying function-based interventions
• Developing and monitoring Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
• Providing ongoing supervision and mentorship to RBTs and direct support staff
• Monitoring behavioral progress through data collection and analysis
• Training staff, caregivers, and team members on behavioral interventions and implementation strategies
• Collaborating with participants, families, nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other service providers
• Participating in interdisciplinary meetings and treatment planning discussions
• Ensuring timely and accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and required reports
• Supporting positive behavior approaches that enhance quality of life and independence
• Maintaining compliance and organizational standards

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
• California behavior analyst licensure, when applicable
• Minimum 2 years of BCBA experience providing behavioral services to individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, behavioral health disorders, or complex behavioral needs
• Experience conducting FBAs and developing BSPs
• Strong clinical assessment and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and clinical leadership skills

Skills & Competencies

PREFERRED:

• Residential, crisis stabilization, severe behavior, or dual-diagnosis experience
• Experience supervising RBTs and behavior support teams
• Knowledge of California Regional Center services and Title 17 regulations
