Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral therapy in a variety of settings including home, school, and center-based environments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on functional assessments and data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective treatment.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans to address challenging behaviors.
- Document progress and outcomes using standardized tools and maintain accurate records.
- Train and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure consistent and high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in regular clinical forums and CEU opportunities to stay current with best practices in ABA.
- Assist in the development and implementation of person-centered care and assent-based treatment programs.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and online courses.
- Manage caseloads efficiently while ensuring quality of care and client satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of services.
- Support the organization's commitment to DEI, neurodiversity, and other specialty groups fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Requirements
Applicants must be presently eligible to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, or related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification or equivalent.
- Experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior intervention planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other disabilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in ABA.
- Experience with data collection and analysis.
- Understanding of safety protocols and crisis management strategies.
